1999 s70 t5
Selling my '99 T5.
I believe is what is known as an SE model. 282,000 KM
Premium stereo (it rocks), wood grain interior with split leather suede (Dark Grey inside). Nice tint (makes car look sleek)
Exterior silver with nice premium Volvo rims and wing/spoiler.
I have spent quite a bit over the last year and am not willing spend any more. I have had her for 9 years and looking for an enthusiast who can bring her back to her former glory. I will start with condition so that everything is on the up and up.
What you need to know to fix:
Engine: Idling very rough. I had previous problems with an injector coils and hope you know more than I do.. I believe it is 2.3 high compression turbo.
Moon roof: not working
Light bulb lighting up shifter positions is burnt out (minor as we can all find drive)
Body: good. minor rust spots. front end has more from rock chips
Interior: Could use a really good cleaning. Small ¾” rip in driver seat.
What I have replaced:
$1000 Inner and outer tie rod ends (Volvo OEM Parts) and alignment
(Jan or Feb this year)
$600+ Tires: Bought December 21st (Continental Extreme Contact DWS)
$1000 New Volvo OEM Radiator, overflow resevoir, rad temp sensor & cap.
November 2012
$500 Re-built Alternator and Volvo OEM battery (Volvo alternator was way too expensive) Oct/Nov. 2012.
The first 9 years of this car's life was services at the Volvo dealership. I have spent over $3000 in the last 5 months and taking reasonable offers. Please email Dan at dansgeneralemail@gmail.com
