Default 1999 Volvo S70 Adding a blow off valve...?

If anyone can please help me with this one question id appreciate it greatly. I have a 1999 Volvo S-70 and im hesitant to put on my Blow off valve not because the blow off valve itself but because i have a turbo obviously and when the air will go through the piping and instead of heading straight to where it would regularly go it will instead flow into the blow off valve. would this cause my car to stall since the amount of air flow will be significantly reduced ? I also have a sensor on my piping which i think is for the air flow and fuel and all that i heard that thats not good to mix with a B.O.V.

Please help me! [&o]

thanks - tony

I have an automatic and i want an HKS Super Sequencial B.O.V its universal so i figured itd be okay but im not sure because i talked to a couple people and they said that the car we have might or might not be a problem, since the air flow is always at a constant flow or close to it .. if a blow off valve is added it might take the air from the piping into the blow off valve and not feed enough of it to the actually designated place it would originally go too and that might cause the car to stall.. so i dont really want that to happen and thats why i wanna figure it out.. thanks for your reply and i hope we can figure this out soon because a blow off valve would sound so good coming from a volvo!! lol w/b

thanks- tony

i definitely agree with how awesome a blow off would be on a volvo. haha i think it would be nice to pull up next to some crap civic with fat exhaust then let loose with a blow off. i also agree with the problem of the air flow. im going to search for a volvo blow off and ill let you know if i find one made specifically for volvo

i find a s70 specific blow off valve. tech i was wondering what you think the legitimacy of this would be. i always thought a blow off would cost more then 170. anyways...

They do help some.
Most of the time you will need to have a peice welded onto the pipe to accept it.
They will not make your car stall

They will not hurt the car at all.
