2000 S80 2.9 (non-turbo)
Light blue/silver paint – tan interior - 85k miles – non-smoker
Currently everything is in great shape inside and out keeping in mind it’s a 2000 so not perfect but about as close as you can get for a 2000. Runs/drives great, decent mileage for a big car with 22/23 local and 26/28 (depending mostly on fuel grade) on highway.
Since Oct 2010 I’ve replaced some things it needed: the throttle body (from xmodex), abs module (bba reman), battery, spark plugs, and recently about $1200 worth of front suspension work to replace the notoriously bad OEM struts/mounts/etc… - and some work it didn't need but seemed like a good idea like k&n air filter and had a tranny filter/flush. Also I replaced the factory CD eater with a nice Kenwood unit and the HD Radio tuner to go with it - has jacks for mp3, usb drive, and was professionally installed using a double din Volvo mounting bracket so the plastic is a perfect match with the rest of the dash.

I’m planning on getting a timing belt/tensioner/pully/water pump change in the spring (if for some reason I still have this car) which will be well ahead of the recommended 105k mile point, but everything I’ve read on Volvo’s says that is a dangerous gamble to wait for 105k. That is estimated at around $900. I’m at the point in life where I can go back to a smaller and preferably manual car that is more suited to my local driving. This car is a sweet place to be on long trips but we hardly do those anymore and if we do we have to take our other vehicle with a multi-bike rack.

I’m near St Louis and would make a best effort to accommodate picking up at local metro-link stations that connect to the airport if you are coming from out of town.

I have some pictures that were taken in Florida right before I bought this car and will post some of my own (besides the one I took showing the new stereo). These were taken by someone else with about 65k on the odo - look pretty much the same but less armor all on everything.
