197000 Miles Black Engine pulls strong as does transmission...turbo is original and in good working order...heated leather seats are in good cond. no rips or tears in leather although the front seats do have age and wear craks...still very comfortable to ride in.
There are things in need of attn however...
a/c compressor is dead,sunroof inoperable,floor vents dont circulate heat although heat does circulate thru the ac vents and defroster. The engine is running fine but smokes on start up..my volvo guy says its the valves and i run 20w-50 oil that helps alot. The trans is fine and so is the turbo but a common problem is that it leaks oil down the side of the trans and under the car. The suspension is shot ...will need front struts and control arms and rear shocks...brakes work good but the aftermarket pads up front suck as they make all kinds of noises...
Despite all of this the car still drives and of just last week have been driving it daily...It just refuses to die and once you drive it you'll be convinced its worth saving. I have had it since '07 and put 60000 miles on it...a ton of maintainence and repair work all documented...including new CV axles and boots 2 yrs ago and a new fuel pump last summer. I just bought a '96 960 wagon so I do not need to have 2 cars registered and insured. I am asking $2000 or your best serious offer. I want to see this go to someone who would do what is needed to get this car back up to spec...1 pic for now...I will email more pics to truly interested parties.
