First post here. My wifes daily driver, 2005 XC90 (T5 turbo), has a busted flexpipe in the downpipe.
They are way too expensive for me to buy and local shops wont touch it.
I was going to cut it out and weld in a new flex myself but the pipe size is not standard so I thought I would try here first.
Anybody have one laying around they replaced with aftermarket?

Try doing a search on eBay using "Volvo XC90 2005 2.5T downpipe" - I see one for $39 (you'd need to have it welded in).

Plan B would be to use car-parts.com to find a yard willing to sell you either the downpipe + cat or cut off the cat so you can weld on the flex pipe to your cat.

 

I have one from an 05 V70R.... would probably work.

Where are you located?
