Up for grabs I have a RICA-tuned ECU.. fits 98 Volvo S70 / V70 / C70 with T5 (high pressure turbo). I bought it from EuroSport Tuning just about a year and a half ago. Ran it in my 98 S70 for just over a year, but recently sold the car (semi-demodded), so I no longer need this! My stock S70 T5 was running 8psi stock, with the addition of this ECU and an intake, it ran 13-14psi. After I added my Turbo-back exhaust, it ran 19psi STRONG! Stock S70 runs 240hp, this ECU with Int/Ext will bring that up to 310ish. This ECU makes the car pull HARD. Definately woke up a hidden animal in mine! I paid $500 for it, and they still sell for that. They also charge a $200 core for the return of your ECU. I am selling this ECU outright, with no trade/core. There are several sensors in the car (intake temperature sensor, throttle position sensor, rpm sensor, etc) which send information to the ECU. Based on this input, the ECU calculates the output sent to the fuel injection system, ignition system and turbo. The software in the ECU is responsible for the performance characteristics of the engine.

RICA software tuning will optimize or upgrade the standard ECU parameters, such as ignition timing, fuel injection settings and turbo pressure levels. The result is a more efficient engine with higher performance characteristics.

The development of their software tuning is based on extensive testing on the most common Volvo models and engine configurations on the state-of-the-art MAHA dynamometer. RICA software tuning also accounts for the limitations of the driveline components in the car (turbo, gearbox, engine).

How it works: The ECU is professionally modified by reading and reprogramming the EPROM that stores the software mapping. We have most ECU versions in stock with the tune file installed ready to go. We will send you the tuned ECU and then once you recieved it simply take the ECU out of your car put the tune version in and send the one from your car back to us. There is a $200 core charge applied to all orders which will be refunded once we recieve your ECU back. The price of $499 does not include the core charge.
