Default Rica/elevate

I was planning on getting either the rica or elevate tuners. My question is if i use regular 87 octane fuel will i see much performance gains or will i need to start using 91 octane? Any input is much appreciated

Go Rica as they give you DTC reading and clearing as part of the Tune.Elevate charges an added $150 for it. The added gains in Hp and torque are very close. Looks like Rica is becoming the #1 tune for Volvo's and with that comes experience and that's always a plus. I have the Elevate(AutoTech) tune and am very happy with it. But if i were to do it again i would have gone with Rica. They have more proven tune files for just about any setup you could run.Stage 1-3 with all the mods in between.
You should be using 91+ octane in you car anyway but im not sure if Rica or Elevate have files for 87. The higher the Octane the better the car runs.
Before the tune I would start with a Stage 0 and make sure the car is in Top running shape.A Tune will bring any problems to light very fast. I also suggest installing a boost gauge this also help with any issue if they arise.
Timing Belt W/ tensor and pulley are a must if the car is at or near 100k
