My 1990 240DL Volvo is finally dying and I've gotten a newer car. It is still registered and insured and I still drive it, but it needs a lot of work. Currently it's making a squealing noise when I accelerate from a stop or almost-stop (transmission?), it is leaking power steering fluid, and it doesn't start well unless it has recently been running. (I have to rev the engine to get it going, or it will stall.) It is an automatic with power locks and windows. The body is in decent shape, although there is a dent near the front bumper where someone backed in to me.

It has approx. 325,000 miles. I don't know for sure because the odometer died two years ago at 279k and change.

We also have lots of Volvo 240GL parts (which also fit the DL) from a previous car, including external parts such as the doors and hood, and internal parts like the transmission and engine.
