ibified: "So you come here and make an account just to sell your car? And you're trying to get $3700 for a car with 215K miles? Best of luck!"
Kiss4aFrog: "Everyone is entitled to their opinion ... I think you are way high too ... I won't remove his comment ..."
rspi: "Personally I believe those '98's are worth it if they are well serviced. ... If you find a '98 S70 GLT for $2,500 and have to do a timing belt within the year, replace brakes within a year, you have officially dumped $4,000 on the car. Why not buy a clean one with no needs for $3,750? "
Update, rspi was right. Market was slow with winter and on and off snow, but once weather cleared, the first person who came to look at it bought right then for mroe than even the "Dealer - Excellent" BB value.
Some feel aftermarket stuff drives up the price, but the irony is mine sold for what it did and ibified couldn't part his out and it went to a salvage yard. Maybe it's karma, because those comments were deleted when I brought it KaF's attention (who thought it fair game) but when I noted the following sticky from a more senior member who understood the inanity of having Classifieds if folks who aren't involved in the transaction try to influence it:
tech: "Please to not post in a For Sale thread if you do not want to buy the item or have a question about the item. There is to much Junk being posted in People's FS posts."
I expect this too will be deleted, but those who catch it might be the wiser regarding posting and valuations.
