An extremely reliable car that has been babied for several years - I am the second owner - It is in extremely good condition for nearly 160K miles, and mechanically does need a couple of things done, though I'm obsessive about doing it's annual maintenance, only synthetic oil changes, and have replaced nearly everything on her at this point.

She does need the following: Replace the O-Rings, and replace/reset the front airbag, and the front automatic door lock "brain" should be replaced at some point - it works usually, but not always.

Aesthetically, the leather interior is in very good condition, particularly the back seats and passenger front, and the drivers’ seat could stand to have a professional seal in the leather as does have seams of wear, but has not cracked as yet - this is simple enough to do, Minor carpet staining in front - good cleaning can rectify.

I've recently replaced the following:

• all struts/shocks/motor mounts/fuel filter, Continental tires, front & back oxygen sensors, alternator, front brake pads/discs, brake hoses, shaft seals, both front & rear cam seals, pcv system breather kit, timing and drive belts, oil trap, and various hoses, & have flushed all fluids such as radiator and power steering, & including the transmission the slow way, (w/3 synthetic oil changes). Also, I have all maintenance records for the previous nine (9) years I've owned her.

Transmission shifts smooth - no issues. Turbo is also good - no issues.

In full disclosure, while parked 2 yrs. ago in a parking lot, she was backed into on the passenger side rear door - I replaced the door & entirely repainted with a 3 yr warranty, so some minor touch up paint around the door is needed.

I’ve had twelve (12) Volvos' through the many years, and love this one, and the series 850 overall! I've had newer, and I've had the convertible, but always seem to gravitate towards this series in particular, although I do have a fondness for the 240 also.

Only selling because I have another vehicle, & I don't want to continue to care for two of them. - I need the space back!
