Hi rspi,

I have a 1998 V70 GLT (white with tan seats and dark grey plastic interior) and need quite a few small things...

- Front license plate bracket/holder
- Center console cup holders (the piece that slides out is broken)
- Child seat tether brackets (I need 2). These consist of a screw and a 2inchx2inch piece of metal and hold child seat straps.
- The front passenger-side "mini grill" at the bottom of the bumper (the one that covers the towing hook)
- The rear 12v power plug in (on the back of the center console, for use by back-seat passengers)

- Door actuators for both the front and rear passenger door (not 100% certain it isn't electrical yet, but all symptoms point to old/bad actuators)

- Also, if you come across a tow-hitch or roof rack I may be interested once I figure out which will be better for me.

2. Yes, the armrest has two cup holders in a slide-out tray. I don't need the armrest, but the tray itself. Volvo V70 Cup holder-Grey (1998-2000))

5. I'll have to take a closer look at see which piece is actually broken. The 12v plug recepticle has been "pushed in" to the console and isn't attached. It doesn't have a cap either, but the real problem is that it has broken loose inside of the console and is thus unusable.

6. Yes. Both passenger doors currently lock automatically, but won't unlock. When I unlock the doors automatically I can feel that there is movement in the actuators, but they don't have enough "oompf" to open. I've read that with a 14 year old V70 with 110k this is the likely cause.

7. The rails themselves. I currently have no rails (or cross rails, obviously ). I may go with a hitch instead, I have to weigh the pros and cons.

 

OK, I will go back to the yard tomorrow to look for the child seat anchors.

7. Does not have rails or tow hitch. A 850 tow hitch will likely work but these things are heavy. They usually charge $25 w/o ball.

also do u have a drivers seat foam l can get from u.mine is kind of deteriorated and makes me unconfortable when driving for long hours.my butt hurts like crazy and l keep moving on my seats.the passenger side seat looks and feel new cuz its rarely used.is there a way l can switch the foam?

It would cost you more to get it up to your area than a car in your area with a bad motor. Check closer to you.
