I was going to install this but have no decided to keep it simple. This was around $1000 when new. It can run entire system including sub.

Zapco is well know in audio community for making excellent equipment. This model was made in USA. today they only make the very top model in USA if at all I think. they moved production of lower lines overseas if not all of them.

Amp will do about 30-35% more than its rated.

I have a very nice condition Zapco AG650 which was their 6 channel all in one amp.

the first 4 channels are 2ohm stable and the rear 5&6 channels are 1ohm stable if you want to bridge them for sub duty.

This amp is also perfect for running active on a 3 way system as it has a 10x multiplier on it. if you run active you know what that means.

anyhow. I was going to run this 1 amp for my car but I sold car and now have another car and right now dont have the motivation to start a new system. the amp retailed for almost $1000 when released. this series and the next few years were all made in USA. they are no longer made in USA.

if you dont know who ZAPCO is then you need to google them. They are better than 90% of all other brands. Zapco has always been in the top 10% of higher end amplification.

you may see adds all day for 1000watt amps but dont beleive it. they cant do that. this amp will do around 30% More than its rated FOR REAL .

this is not a pawn shop amp or a cheapo brand. those who know know....if you dont know then you need to take this one and get yourself a real amp for cheap and stop playing with junk.

sub channels only 180x2 @ 1 ohm or 360x1 @ 2ohm mono.
The amp has a built in 3 way crossover which is infinitely adjustable from 55-5500hz on each set of outputs. channels 1 and 2 only can be set as highpass, lowpass, and bandpass. All other channels can be set as high or low. Has 3 sets of balanced mini-din as well as rca inputs. Seperate input gain for each set of outputs. Can be configured to run off of one, two, or all three sets of inputs ( you don't need a deck with 3 sets of rca preouts). Has built in fan cooling as well as a huge heatsink;
amp measures 32" x 7.5" x 2.5"!! It is meant to run an active 3 way system consisting of tweets, mids, and subs. It is also perfect for competition 151-300 watt power class.
