Hello dear Volvo community!

Today we would like to introduce our app Carchestra to you – it is already available in the Google Play Store for vehicles with Android Automotive / Google built-in.
We – a team of Android developers from PARADOX CAT in Munich – are excited to bring our first in-car app to the Play Store.

What makes Carchestra special?
Carchestra is a music app that integrates seamlessly into your Volvo’s native media player – and elevates the driving experience to a whole new level.
The app reacts in real time to your driving behavior: every corner, every acceleration (up to 60 km/h, ideal for city driving), and every braking action changes the sound of the music.
This creates a kind of “musical symphony of your driving style” – dynamic, individual, and characteristically Volvo.

Using available vehicle signals, Carchestra live-mixes different music layers and sound effects. The result is a soundscape that moves in harmony with the signature Volvo driving feel.

We’re already working on additional features and music styles to make the experience even more versatile and engaging.
