Greetings from Yokohama, Japan.
A drooling set of cars, indeed.
One reason why turbocharged cars have developed so much in Japan is due to the stringent & bizarre emissions regulations, and the top horse power has always been limited at max 280 HP (Why? I have no clue). I heard that Toyota Aristo (known more commonly as Lexus GS300, L-6 twin-turbo, not available in the States) had better acceleration than Honda (Acura) NSX. Honda plans to replace the good old NSX with some ugly V-10. I loved the first production NSX with retractable headlights. As to NSX, Honda usedto sell 2-Japanese domestic models; Type-S & Club-S or something like that. Theyhad less weight than the regular models and had some tune-ups around the suspensions, special wheels, etc... Didn't sell very well, though.
Evo &Subaru WRX are little peppy cars; small body with powerful motors.
Here're some pics for you:
1-Saitama-Police's Skyline GT-R (good luck getting away)
2-Saitama-Police's WRX (good luck getting away)
3-Skyline GT-R L6 Twin Turbo
4-*Mitsuoka Orochi-1 (Domestic Hand-Builder; may be ugly to some)
5-Mitsuoka Orochi-2
*"Orochi" is an imaginary gigantic snake in Japanese legend that used to fetch people for, well, I believe as a food source[8D].
