Hi i have a 2008 vovo s40 turbo
my questions invole the motor recently i blew the motor
no compression in cylinders 2 3 4
i have found a replacement found but its a non turbo and its missing the head.. But the motor was in good condition wondering if its possible to use that bottom half of the engine to put mine back together..
Are the engines the the same is this possible ?
Please help asap thanks

 

turbo and non-turbo have different compression ratios so the pistons are different. When you say you blew the motor and have no compression on 3 cylinders, what happened? How do you know its the bottom end that's at fault? Not quite sure if a short block is what you need.
