Default Stop/Start battery question

Hi All,

Question regarding the actual functions of the stop/start battery as from what I have read it doesn't just seem to be the stop start.

My car (2015 XC60) wouldn't close its boot (trunk) or lock last night after being opened and closed 3 times while the car was turned off. I left it like that for a few hours and came back and it started perfectly, like there was no battery issue. Once started the boot closed and I carried on. This morning the car started perfectly as well.

The stop/start also hasn't worked in a few months but that doesn't bother me too badly. I am now however wondering if the stop/start battery is what is controlling the likes of the boot/locking/radio (this also turns off after 30 seconds of the car being turned off and the low battery warning shows on the dash) and could be causing the issue? Anyone have any idea on this?

Again the car starts perfectly, even when left overnight.

Thanks in advance!
