Default Back-up Bike Rack Issue - Breaks slam on

I have a new XC60 Recharge Hybrid. When a bike is on the back bike rack the breaks slam on after about 5 feet even after I hit the button that appears to say I know there is something there. Anyone know how to deal with this issue? Volvo dealership says there’s nothing I can do.

When you turn on engine, you should see a small camera icon appear on the infotainment screen. Hit that and turn off the rear camera. That's how I fixed it on my 2022 XC60. That auto braking is traumatic, isn't it? Thought I hit something!!!

I finally figured it out, and YES that auto braking is traumatic.

Now I have another question: In the past 2 months this has happened twice - the ventilation system doesn't go on. Yesterday it happened in 95 degree heat. I rebooted the software, and it started again after I turned off the car and then back on. Have you had this experience?
