Not any more, not around here. They will kill you. Noone watches for bikers. You have to ride in bike areas.

Other than that, that bike looks heavy.?

haha yeah its hard to find good bike routes...

but the bike is not really heavy, carbon fiber seat post and spokes..

my bike is 19-20 lbs

My bike is about 12 lbs. Tires are very thin so I can't hit many bumps without getting a flat.

12?? that full carbon? my bike might be a few lbs lighter with the computer, pack, cage, water bottles, and all the extra crap off it..

My brother owns a bike shop and rides, make that did ride. Last week he ran off in a ditch and hit a big tree branch. Launched him 20 feet in the air and he came down on his head. Fractured C4 & C5, T5 & T6 vertebrae. He's in a brace from hips to neck right now. Worse than his first wreck when all he did was fracture his collarbone and pelvis.

Ouch is right. If he insists on riding I think I'm going to buy him one of those inflatible sumo wrestling suits.

haha yeah you can get going fast on these things and mess yourself up bad, fastest i've clocked on mine is about 45mph.. i know i could get it a little higher on a steep steep hill.. but yeahhh haha
