I was contacted by a fellow volvo owner down here about seeing if we could get a meet together.. here in miami or the surrounding area.

I know the regional sub-forums dont get much action just thought Id throw it out there see is anyone interested..

I am new to Volvo forum and we have a 1979 242GT that we restored and are ready to show off. Where is the closest VOLVO meeting at near the Southern Mississippi?

 

So are we having this meet anytime soon or?>?..

Who said it had to be anything major, we'll meet in a parking lot somewhere, then drive around hunting vdubs and ricers...

Just a thought, we'll meet at a central location, on a friday evening, head to Tower Shops in Davie where everyone and their mother from all over go to hang and showoff, and I guarantee we'll gain interest about our "soccer mom" whips.

We'll give gas money to who has the quickest volvo out of our group, tell prospective "racers" if they can't beat him/her, they have no chance against anyone else in our little group... and have a safe, fun time.
