I'm a new Volvo owner ('94 850 Turbo wagon) in St. Pete, in the Tampa Bay area looking for fellow Volvo folks to learn from, hang with, etc. I'm working with my best friend/mechanic to do some modding on my car but I'd love to meet people who have already done it! Anyone in town?

I sadly am unable to drive my Volvo wagon anymore. As crazy as this may sound, it has become unsafe. The interior was vandalized and the dash is loose, the ABS is going, my bearings in my block are deteriorating, and the airbags are no longer functional, among other things. For the time being, I'll be driving a Blazer until I can get into something a bit more fitting, like another 850. I'll miss you guys!

I just purchased a used '07 S60 T2.5 a few months ago. Was a Tampa dweller (It's still my "Home") and now living in Okee--Patooie---Chobee.
We get to Tampa a few times a year and would love to hang out with other Volvo people.
You may want to check out Dan's Volvo Service in South Tampa...I had a Volvo years ago and this guy was recommended by just about everyone in the profession. He's a proverbial encyclopedia of Volvo....and one heck of a Jazz musician.

Agreed we should have a meet and greet / swap meet

 

Its the same with me. Im on a couple forums and a local facebook page and its just so hard to find people to meet up and hang out with, ive just kinda given up on it haha

 

We live in Okeechobee but are continually falling in love with our S60, certainly willing to do a meet and greet in the area...Tampa area and south. My wife would love to meet other Volvo enthusiasts....she's gone Volvo bonkers!
