My friendly Volvo dealer in Melbourne FL says he can't get micro switches to get the top to retract or go up. Wants $2500 to MAYBE get a swich (says there is one in the country) and possibly repair it. The car only has 62,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. I am an old VW mechanic is is still someone handy. I cannot find anyone to fix it right for reasonable money and I cannot find any top repair manuals or I might go junkyarding and try to figure it out myself. Paid 4,000 for the car a few weeks ago and thinking about trying to sell it for maybe $2500? Any Ideas? Retired in Sebastian Fl and want a convert.
