Default 1984 240 dl

I have had my 240 DL a little over a week now, & it is in fairly good condition for a 28 year old car. It has a few very minor mechanical issues that will be an easy fix, but it mainly has cosmetic needs. I can't seem to find door panels. I can find the door pockets, door handles, etc., but I can not find the actual door panels. Anyone have any ideas where I would find these?

only place you'll likely find the interior door panels is on a car being scrapped. will probably take being persistent and watching new arrivals at the local pik-n-pull yards, as well as craigslist etc looking for cars being parted out.

for laughs, I looked in the volvo parts catalog for a 1984 240... dunno if yours is a 2-door, 4-door, or wagon, or what color interior, but a beige drivers door panel for that sedan is $225 new from TascaParts.com, and the passenger panel is $180. not all interior code panels were available. you'd need to know your 4-digit interior color code to order these (I looked up code 4229, beige cloth). note this is JUST the panel, all the hardware is separate

Well at that price I could buy 2 panels & it would cost me more than the car did! LOL! Thanks Pierce!
