Hi-

I was in a small accident over the weekend and my driver's side headlight and turn signal got damaged. I need help figuring out how to replace the mount for the headlights. The bulbs work when I turn on high beams but not on low beam. I've attached pictures. If anyone knows how to fix the mounts and what parts I will need, that would be incredibly helpful. Thanks.

 

Well, you're there...You will have a much better idea what parts will be needed than we. .Three phillips screws hold on the turn signal lens...remove it and see if the "bucket" itself is damaged. It to removes quite easily. Remove the silver trim of the headlamps. If you're not sure, examine the passenger side that is undamaged and see how it comes apart. Just keep removing broken parts until you get to unbroken, unbent parts. The damage looks extremely simple to fix BTW.

 

if you go deep enough, it will look like this, only unbent (this picture is prior to some minor body work). the headlight assembly is attached to a plastic adjuster plate which bolts onto the metal body parts as seen here...



the adjuster plates are attached via 3-4 nuts on posts from the back.

the turn signals are also screwed onto those adjuster plates.
