Default 1985 240 Sedan - Windshield Wipers Way Too SLOW!!

My 1085 240 everything seems to be working just fine. When I tried to turn the wipers on, I noticed that they were going way too slow. I checked the connection for corrosion at the motor. It doesn't matter what speed you the switch is on, all of the speeds go way too slow. Has this happened to anybody before? Reply to the post if you can help me out.

I have the same issue with my '89 245. I read that if it's not the wiring that's corroded, the motor itself would need replacing. ipd has the motors for about $70.

You can also take the motor apart and re-glue the magnets back in place ... these motors have trouble with the magnets breaking free ... it might save you some money.

I have the same issue.. but I replaced the motor with a brand new one... and the wipers are still way to slow.
Any other solutions?
