1989 240DL no spark after coil?
Could be your RPM sensor located behind the engine and on top of the flywheel. This is what triggers your spark at the coil through the ignition control module. Common for these to fail. Inspect it for chaffed wires near the firewall. Could also be the ignition control module - not as common. Good luck!
The PO thinks it is the mass air flow censor? He said he had a no start problem before and that was it and he beets that is it now. I think it is the RPM sensor, is there any way to test it or just buy one and see if it is it?
