Default 1989 volvo 240 NO START Grrrrrr!

Hey, my 89 240DL will not start.

It cranks but will not catch. I bought a new battery and replacedEVERY fuse. I checked the Fuel Pump relay. It clicks when i turn the ignition switch to ON. I even went to the junk yard and got a spare. I replaced all the plugs. I checked spark from each plug and it was good. I check spark from the coil and it was good. I pulled the cover off the timing belt to see if the belt was broken. The timing belt was fine. I jumped the the Fuel pump at the Relay connector and it worked.

The wierd thing is........ I pulled the fuel line off just before the rail and stuck the end into an empty 2 liter bottle. When i jumped the fuel pump it pumped just fine and filled that whole bottle in about5 seconds. But when i put the relay back and tried to start it, NO fuel was being pumped into the 2 liter bottle. Isnt the fuel pump supposed to pump fuel during startup????

ANY SUGGESTIONS??? I am so frustrated.

Thanks
-John

Also, no Diagnostic codes present either.

Hey guys. I got it working! I pulled the wiring schematic and got out my highlighter. I narrowed it down to the relay. It would not get power to the fuel pump. SO, i jumped the YELLOW/ORANGE wire to the RED wire, WITH the fuel pump relay still connected. When i did that, it started right up. If you need any more details please email me at zambonni@aol.com. Thanks!

Also, I want to praise the Lord for allowing me to fix this.
