Default Cruise control, high beam not working!

These switches get used every-time you use the brake or clutch. My guess is they are defective or out of adjustment.

That would be my first stop,

Hi Ron! Hate to take advantage of your chiming in, but I’m going to. I’m working on getting my 1990 Volvo 240 DL Wagon back on the road. It was totaled back in 2004 and has been sitting. I’ve got it running pretty good and am trying to get it to pass the light/ break test to get it on the road. Jumped # 56 to 56b ( low beam) and low beams came on . Did the same for 56a ( high) and nothing. The lever clicks back on the switch but nothing . OBW. Radio lights just went out. It had a short And probably just it’s own problem. Don’t think I need the radio to pass inspection.
Anybody else have any ideas, feel free to chime in.
Thanks, Diana
