Any ideas on how to fix a speedometer and temp gauge that do not work?
Is there a relay I need to replace?

Sounds like the 2 problems arent related.The speedometer get its signal from the sensor in the rear end cover.Check the plug at the sensor the rubber around the sensor falls apart with age.Make sure the wires are all the way in and arent damaged.As for the temp guage the sensor is located in the head almost middle under the intake.The plug is the same style as the rear sensor.Check for the same problem as in the rear.If the wiring and plugs are good.Then the sensors are bad but check the wiring first.Good luck
