I'm trying to look for weather stripping in the trunk of my 1991 Volvo 740 sedan. I have found places that calim that they have the weather stripping, but it is the wrong kind. I could use some help, please.

They are based in Germany but have a small distribution hub here. Rather than waiting weeks and paying outrageous shipping, if it has to come from Germany, they have an order flown in once a week to the hub. You only pay domestic shipping. I suspect Volvo still has it but it would be pricey. Do you have any salvage yards near you that you could check? Generally, trunk seals are the last seal to fail as they are often not used much. Would be economical too.

 

Managed to get used weather stripping from a junk 740 Turbo Intercooler. Is almost as good as new. Here is the salvage yard where i got it from in Atlanta. http://www.autodisassemblyvolvo.com/ If you call the guys, it will be some what difficult because of the heavy accents.
