Unhappy 1993 240 Won't Start

1993 240 won't start and I am going to run through all the normal stuff regarding fuses, fuel, spark, etc.

If I open the oil fill cap and look in there while someone cranks the engine and I see movement, does this verify that my timing belt is NOT broken?

Thanks!

A moving cam while cranking is a good thing .. but you might want to remove the timing belt cover and make sure all the marks line up.

What are your other symptoms? Do you get spark, fuel? Go to www.stepbystepvolvo.com for procedures for testing 740 no-start. May help on your model.
