240 Exterior Trim options
Have a '92 240 who's exterior trim is aging badly. The gray plastic panels at the rocker are glued and reglued at least once a year. The euro plastic belt trim is disintegrating and will eventually have gaps at the left and right ends where it meets with the end caps for each trim piece.
I was thinking of spraying gray rhino lining urethane material along the rockers to match the trim there. But not sure if others have tried this and run into problems. You can also get this in a roll-on form, like painting your bedroom. Also, I've seen the JC Whitney optional "roll" of rubber trim for the belt line, but not sure if others are happy with this approach.
Interested in any info folks can share on making their 240s look nice, again!
