240 Inner tie rod torque spec.?
Hi,
i'm new here, have an '88 volvo 240. been working on front suspension, hit a curb a few months back and realized i bent my driver's control arm and the self-locking nut on the inner tie rod had frozen and they couldn't do an alignment, so replacing it all myself.
i have the cam-type steering rack, i have the old inner tie rod off along with the frozen tie rod end, have the moog inner tie rod replacement for it, and would like to tighten it to spec. i emailed moog a week ago about this but haven't got a response back yet, wondering if anyone knows torque spec. for the inner tie rod to the steering rack. also i've seen some vids where they use loctite on it, would anyone recommend doing that?
thx all
