i had the entire exhaust system replaced 3 years / 12,000 miles ago. i live in san francisco and hardly drive this car, let alone in wet / snowy areas.
the mid exhaust pipe has rusted/detached from the rear muffler so that the muffler now rotates/hangs and is a bit noisy. how could this have happened after only 3 years? does this sound normal? i'm wondering if it was evenreplaced 3 years ago or not.
