Default 240 Turbo Grill?

Super sad day...

I was driving around today and some dude in a Land Rover decided my grill would look better in pieces. Unfortunately, it does not.

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have or know where I can get a hold of a matte silver grille of an '83 flat nose/flat hood/Group A? It's this style: http://flathood.saliv8.com/img/galle..._frontview.jpg

My best suggestion would be craigslist honestly. A bit of a longshot but when I was browsing around for a chrome style grill for my 740 I found one pretty easily.

If that doesn't work try to find a local junkyard, you never know what kind of cars you'll find there.

What he said. Seek out a member named RedwoodChair. He usually has some early 80's 240 grills AND he is awesome to by from.

Thanks for the input, guys. Redwoodchair didn't have anything I could use, but I found a guy from down under over on Turbobricks selling the exact same grill, minus the turbo badge and in black. (Thanks adub!) My plan is to paint it and transplant a turbo badge over. Hopefully it'll look good as new.

It really sucks... I was so sad when it happened. I knew how rare those things are... it was actually on my to-do list to grab a grill off a junker and keep my flathood grill tucked safely away for special occasions. Oh well. :'(

The original grill is actually 95% intact, but it has a hole in the center and the Volvo emblem is all bent up. I managed to save almost all the pieces, so maybe some day I'll manage to put it back together. I'll try to post picks when I get things sorted out.

I bought a casket hood and grille for my car so that i wouldn't worry about the original flathood and grille getting messed up and not being replaceable. It's getting to the point where finding them is near impossible.
