Default 240owners

I have a 1990 DL 240 Wagon. The AC has never worked well, and it occurred to me, I have never seen any condensation from the evaporater. The carpet is dry in the cabin. Maybe it just doesn't get cold enough for condensation to occur. On the highway, all I get is about 62 degress F, this on a full charge of freon, and the radiator and condensor coils cleaned. Of course it is 18 years old. I am the second owner. My question is where should the condensation appear?

Thanks in advance.

The condensation should appear from the evap drain hose. I think it drains to the rocker panel along with the cowl drain.

Maybe your A/C thermostat is faulty.

Thanks for the info. I will look for the drain hose.

Also is that with R12 or 134A?
Is there a cooling fan on the condensor?
