Default 242 Warm Up Regulator

I am getting ready to purchase a 1981 242, and the man says that the only problem is the warm up regulator...
Is this a part I could replace myself, or must I venture to a costly Volvo specialist once again?
Also anyone have any idea how easy a 242 is to come by?

If he is talking about the thermostat for the air box it is simple to replace. I have never heard of a warm up regulator.

There is a warm up regulator it really isn't that bad to do.

Haven't done one in a while those cars are getting few and far between.
