245 engine swap woes

Hey guys just recently swapped a b230 into my 85 245 out of a 1988 244gl the reason being that the original b230 had low compression and smoked. The engine turns over but has no injector signal to speak of... This engine fired up and ran in the 244. I'm getting spark, it pops off with ether, fuel to the rail but the injectors are not working. I don't know if the sedan harness has something that the wagon does not. The 244 engine has the same harness and ecu that was on it. Any answers are greatly appreciated.

From a probability stand point, most likely a bad ground to the fuel rail mounting bolts. That solder is old and can break. Second of all, could be fuel pump relay circuits...the relay has two relays in it...one for the pumps and the other fires the injectors. Since you just did a swap, I'd re-check all your grounds. Your right...all the wiring is identical...both are LH2.2 and the only difference is in the harness going to the rear of the wagon.
