740/940 wagon overload springs.

740/940 wagon overload springs.
I've equipped a couple 7/9 wagons with the euro overload springs that FCP sells, and we did one with the IPD wagon overload springs.
never been real happy with the results... when you load the car to near its load capacity (supposedly about 1200 lbs total including driver), it rides awfully low in back, even when we try and distribute the load with the back seats folded down..
I wish I had some pictures. we had to move 2500 lbs of cement blocks a couple miles. my son did the first load in my 1965 F100 and the brakes went out (he drove up the hill in low gear, and coasted into our driveway pumping it for what he could). so he did 2 loads in my 740T, probably 800 lbs each, and distributed the blocks over the whole bed in back. said it drove mightly low in back, didn't feel great.
I've done a camping load or two, with 5 passengers and the back fully packed, and a roof rack with bicycles and a cargo box on a 7/9 a few times, including my new one.
How hard would it be to fit some sort of airbag 'booster' that you pumped up to 100psi or whatever when you have a heavy load as a 'spring helper' to level the car? maybe this could live inside the spring ? does anyone make anything like this that fits volvo wagon sized rear springs? maybe like Air Lift Air Lift 1000 Air Spring - JCWhitney ?
