740 atf line to radiator leak
1990 740 GL 268k auto
Hi all,
I've just replaced the radiator and the bottom ATF line going into it is shooting fluid out the end of the fitting upon start up! The threads aren't stripped and I'm wondering if there was some sort of gasket that has maybe worn out and was lost in this transition. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks for the help in advance and for all the great advice I've received by reading these posts!

You need to inspect the line and the Radiator.
There is a flange almost like a brake line where the line meets the Radiator.
Did the old Radiator have Sleeve looking things that screwed into the Radiator?
If so you need to transfer them over.

Thanks for the response. I was able to resolve the problem; I disconnected the line again, thoroughly cleaned the threaded piece coming from radiator and was able to tighten the line flush with the radiator....no more gushing fluid! If I had only thought to do that the first (or second, or third) time!
