Need a little help here guys... I have a 89 740 turbo that some one gave me. Well it wont start, I got a spark tester for the coil to start there (just a cheap one) Got no spark on the tester so I ordered a used coil off of Ebay... Still no spark...... The car has a dead battery that when I am testing I have hooked up to a charger and jumper cables ran from my other working car,,but the car cranks so slow....Any ideas? I don't think it is the coil since neither one worked. I tested m original with my Ohm meter and it all looked good.. but strange that I get no spark on this tester

 

Stupid question...but is the timing belt broke? I don't have a turbo car, mine is a B230F. But, the distributor runs off the cam, and if the belt is broken, the distributor won't turn, and you'll have no spark.
