Default 740 Headlights and dash lights not working!

When I switch on my headlights the dash lights go out and headlights don't come on. Marker lights, turn signals and high beams are working. I'm not getting any power to the low beams. Would this be a headlight switch problem or a relay problem? How would I check it??

Thanks.

you can use a volt meter and check the switch. not sure on the relay.

Wait for the experts to get on...

It was the switch. We got lucky, it was only dirty. A cupla squirts of contact cleaner and voila! Lights again!
