Default 740 O/D constantly "sticking" (off)

My car is occasionally starting with the arrow lit, and I'm wondering if that means the switch is bad.

I'm only assuming it's the switch because that seems to make sense--to me at least--that since I can eventually turn the thing off, there must be some sort of sensor or switch problem going on.

Anyone experience a similar occurence?
(I can press the button dozens of times and it will eventually work after a few minutes)

Most likely the realy is bad.
The relay is located in the fuse box behind the Ashtray. It is a white relay and should be on the right side.

What does the relay look like, because I'm not sure I see what you're talking about.

(Looked around where the fuses are)

The o/d relay may not be white. Some of them are black. It looks like a small cube. And is located where tech said. If the relay kind of wobbles and dosent stay in place, then thats your problem and you can jsut get a new one.
