Any one know where the best place to find Volvo interior parts? Most of the salvage yards in my area have already crushed my model year I have a 1991 740 turbo wagon and I am looking for the plastic pieces that fit under the interior door latch as well as possible some new lower door panels. Also a center arm rest. Not asking for much... Ha Ha.... Will other models fit or do I need to look exclusively for 1991. My car is blue with blue interior. Was this color common? I suppose if I found enough parts I could change to the most common interior color. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

 

most to all 700 series share interior parts. I swapped out my 91 tan interior for a 87 black interior. I like the carpeted plastic trunk pieces more than the non cover parts.

I think some if not most of the 900 series interior pieces also fit the 700.

 

Well that would be a big help if that's true. It gives a few more years and models to search.

 

a 1991 740 is virtually the same as a 1991 940, which shares most parts with most 940 years. I would think you could get away with black or grey parts in a blue interior car as long as you swapped all the matching parts (for example, swap all door panels).

the door panels come off as all one piece, although they /can/ be further disassembled if you're persistent enough.

(I drive a 1992 740 Turbo Wagon, love it!)
