Default 740 seat swap

i'm really wanting to put better seats in my '90 740. it has torn up leather manual ones now, but id really like the power 3 way memory seats from some of the other models at the local yard. besides wiring changes ( i can handle that) how hard would it be and what seats would interchange bolt pattern wise?

the floor bolt pattern is identical for any 7x0/9x0, even the S90/V90.

the side trim varies, but it can be interchanged on the different seat frames.
the seat belt buckle various too, but you can swap it and its wire harness, they bolt right up to any of the seat frames.

to install power seats in a non-power car, ideally clip off the power jack on the car side of the donor so you can splice new power wires to it.

most power seats I've seen are also heated seats, and there's a couple differnet versions of the heater power connector, you can take your old seat's connectors and fit them to the new seats.

the memory module is under the seat, and doesn't need anything else, EXCEPT, they are supposed to be synchronied if they loose track of where they are, this sets the limits.

I installed late model 940/960 leather seats in my 1992 740 T-wagoon. I hooked up the power drivers seat, but its memory ddoesn't quite work reliably, oh well. the manual adjust works great in all directions.

ps. when the new seats are out of the car is a great time to really clean the seat tracks, then grease them...
