'76 242 no start
She won't start hot, she won't start cold. she'll only start after lifting the air sensor plate and getting gas out of the injectors and even then it's iffy. I've checked the cold start valve and it's good but it doesn't open when cranking and the thermal time switch is passing voltage. and even then the car doesn't start hot. I'm out of ideas.

RE: '76 242 no start
huh. you might need to re-explain that

I had a similiar problem in my 80 242. May seem simple but I had a bad connection on my fuse for the fuel pump relay I think 13. Separate from fuel pump relay. I didn't know there was one. Also check vacuum lines especially big ones on auxiliary air slide valve. Are you getting fuel to the injectors at all?
