'89 780 Bertone Trunk Problem
Hi Guys,
Parting out an '89 780 Bertone and have found that the trunk has no keyway!? The only ways to open the trunk are an electronic button in the glovebox and a lever in the driver door jamb.
The cable is disconnected from the door jamb lever which leaves the trunk inoperable when I start removing more of the electrical system. Any ideas...?

Is the cable disconnected at the door or in the trunk? If it is disconnected at the door you might try removing the lever assembly and pulling directly on the cable. If it is disconnected in the trunk the problem gets a lot harder.
Since this is a rare car (and not really addressed in this forum), I doubt you will get a lot of help here in figuring out a solution.
