Default '90 740gl Aftermarket Stereo Install...

I am installing an aftermarket stereo on my 740, I am confused as to where i am supposed to mount/support the stereo, It is supported in the front by the aftermarket kit, however It tilts at the back and I do not see any obvious places to secure it with screws... am I supposed to secure these somewhere, or is it typical for it to slant down in the back?

-Thankyou

Michael

typically, an aftermarket deck has a metal sleeve on it with a bunch of metal tabs. At first it looks like they're just there for no good reason. But, actually, those metal tabs are to secure teh deck to the front fit kit you bought. bend those tabs and it'll be fine.

Thanks, I got it mounted.
It works just fine before I crank to turn the engine on, as soon as I turn the engine on it sputters and the rpm fluctuates until it eventually dies, or blows out the no. 5 fuse. As soon as the fuse is blown, the stereo and other things go out but the car runs fine..

Tips/Suggestions?

Ever since my first aftermarket stereo got stolen, no. 5 fuse has been blowing, I will probaly take it to get looked at soon.
I have a feeling I need to replace the harness, hopefully its nothing worse or complicated than that.

-Thanks
