90 Volvo 240 Funky Cold part ot3
I've finally fixed the ignition issues on my wagon, turns out I had to do the following:
1. The accelerator was lagging a bit, so I tightened up the linkage just a bit so the TPS would click sooner.
2. Perhaps the biggest fix was a small green wire that went into the back of my speedometer, its a wire that tells the ECU how fast the cars going and when to idle. It was a bit loose so I re-pinched it. It didn't fix the speedometer but now the car starts just fine.
If anyone else is having issues like this just check your wires before throwing new parts around, its a simple free fix.
