Hello all, Ive got a 1991 240 wagon. I have tryed almost everything to correct this issue but so far, nothing! the problem is, everything (temp/fuel) guages work, and the clock works, but the speedo does not! Ive pulled it all apart to look for any sorts or wires burned out, nothing! so my question is, any ideas on what to look for or common problems? anything helps thanks!!

 

Did you check the speedo sensor and the wiring.

 

checked the wiring and sensor, all 'seem' ok. Another thing i just thought of, when I bought it, the owner had said it went out on him and he tryed replacing the whole cluster and it worked for about a day then he saw smoke and it quit working, Ive looked for what wire(s) this 'smoke' came out of and can find nothing.
