'91' 940 turbo won't idle

'91' 940 turbo won't idle

Should the Idle control motor vibrate (or hum) with the ignition on, engine off. Mine does not, I think it might be bad.

Yeh I think mine hums with ignition on, throttle closed , engine running or not.

Thanks, I think I will replace it than. Also clean every thing else (intake) and go from there. Any other ideals are welcome.

Before buying a new one check for voltage at the plug, if no voltage check the throttle idle switch.
It should click as throttle is opened and closed.
I believe that controls the idle motor.
